Styled Shoot – Rustic Boho

On Monday 13 May, Nicole and I headed over to The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields for a styled shoot that we’ve been coordinating over the last couple of months. The theme was ‘Rustic Boho’, featuring a muted palette of grey, copper, beige and teal. Our vision included flowing lace dresses, copper accents and lots and lots of flowers!

Look One

For look one, we headed out in to the stunning walled gardens – making the most of a beautiful doorway to the old green house, vine covered walls, a floral archway and the bandstand.

For this look, Georgia of Georgia May Hair styled a loose, half-up style, with a fishtail braid. A pearl headband from Lilley provided the perfect finishing touch. Josephine of Josephine Way created a soft, smoky makeup look, which tied in perfectly with the rustic-boho theme. The Cecile dress from Indie Bride London fitted Emily like a glove, and looked STUNNING. Danielle of Peonies & Plumes provided the most gorgeous hand-tied bouquet. We are in love with this look!

Danielle of Peonies & Plumes also kindly offered to make a flower crown for a variation on look one – the most beautiful flower crown we’ve ever seen!

Look Two

For look two, we moved in to The Walled Garden’s permanent marquee, where Nicole and I styled tables fit for the perfect wedding breakfast and reception. Teal, chiffon table runners added depth and colour to our tablescape. Copper cutlery and candle holders added warmth to complement the rustic look we wanted to achieve. A mix of blue tones hidden in the candles, flowers and glassware enhanced the overall look to achieve a sophisticated boho pallette. Table flower arrangements from Peonies & Plumes added muted green and pink tones – pulling everything together beautifully. Menus and table signs from Papergood added a hint of sophisticated, rustic style. The side of the marquee was rolled back, allowing a view out into the gardens, on such a beautiful day.

For this bridal look, Georgia transformed Emily’s hair into a gorgeous updo, with a fishtail braid feature. An assortment of beautiful hair pins from Lilley were scattered throughout the hair – so sweet! Josephine deepened the colours of Emily’s makeup, adding a slightly darker eye and deeper lip colour. The Kendall dress from Indie Bride London added a beautiful softness to the bridal style. Isn’t this look stunning?!

Green Kitchen Cakes provided a semi naked cake for the day, decorated with fruit, macarons, and flowers from Peonies & Plumes – the perfect finishing touch to our wedding reception setting.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful suppliers that helped make our vision a reality:

We are thrilled with the images from this shoot – we hope you enjoy them too!

Love Charlotte x
